Product Description

Applications:
sanitary butterfly valve is a sanitary automatically or manually operated butterfly valve. It is well suited for various applications in stainless steel pipe systems.
Operating Principle:
sanitary butterfly valve can be either remote-controlled by an actuator or manually operated by a handle.
The actuator has three standard types, namely normally closed (NC), normally open (NO) and air/air activated (A/A).
The actuator transforms the axial movement of a piston into a 90° rotation of a valve shaft. The torque of the actuator is increased when the valve disc in the valve body contacts the gasket of the butterfly valve, the valve is closed then.
The butterfly valve can be mechanically locked in open, closed, middle or other positions by selecting different manual handles to regulate the flow.
